QUOTE(teckyuan @ Oct 29 2022, 06:10 PM) latitude got 2 ram slot compare to thinkpad which has 1 for your to upgrade only. elitebook 840 11th gen i5 the one i am using right now got no physical lan port lol Most of the non commercial laptops does not have lan port. Because the laptop is too thin. Some gives USB to lan adapter. But most does not. So need to spend another RM60 or more for a Gigabit USB Type C lan adapter.

QUOTE(Gratitude2022 @ Oct 29 2022, 06:41 PM) Those non commercial laptops reliable and light? Commercial laptops does have better build quality. The flex test is one of the few things that shows it. Many ports options and availability is another. And commercial laptops usually come with Windows Pro instead of Home. Light or not depends on how much you are willing to pay for it. Thinkpad lightest solid offering are the X1 series. Cost a bomb. For DELL it is the XPS series.

QUOTE(Gratitude2022 @ Oct 29 2022, 07:09 PM) Maybe now better. I donno la. Never interested in HP anymore. Bad service no more chance. Those day have to go semantan building there. Parking susah. HP no longer have walk in service anymore. I have visited their service center from Old Town to Semantan when the place was called HP towers. The company is not into repair business. They will charge kaw kaw for repairs. Or give you 20-30% discount vouchers to buy their replacement products at authorized sellers. Also do understand that big corporations like this does not stock spare parts. Its better to get it worked on by 3rd party after warranty is over.
