warning???

Off topic: It seems like recently, the warning bar is not shown anymore when I post, the one which only the users themselves can see.
I'm with 0% warning and it is not shown anymore, how about those with warning, still can see?

must have hurt some mods feelings or some staff thought i needed to be warned.. no idea..

The staff will not simply issue a warning to you, from my past experience, I just follow these later mentioned steps.
You can't expect them to tell every single of our offences made, imagine we have how many members here?
So, what you can do is just simply follow these steps to know what have you offended:

1) Click here
2) Click on the warning bar, the percentage, in your case click on "10%". (Please refer to the attached picture)

3) Then, a new small window will pop out, later you can view your offence from that window.

Hope you can understand.

fruitie, yours doesn't display anything because you have nothing to display, ie. your warning level is 0. It only shows up if its 10% or above.

I got 10% because of a foot ball thread. anyway, yeah just click the 10% icon and you will get to see the reason u got that warning !

Just take it as a lesson.
I do have warn of 10% and I still survive till today .. just imagine if your account was suspended.

You may also PM the staff member who issued you the warning to seek further explanation as to why you were warned.

I used to get a 10% warning for a thread in Garage Sales. Now it's gone.

Every 10% will expire after 6 months, if I'm not wrong...

I thought if you click on the percentage of warning, you can get to see the reason you are warned?

It will, in 6 months time, and you can tell the person who warned you to reduce the warning.

i've had at least 2 member complaining to me about your attitude, even then I gave chance la.

but then it came again in this topic http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/528281 where again, i see rudeness and of course another member complained and reported. don't expect to see those posts there though, it's been taken care of.

3 different members over a span of 2 weeks reported you. so 10% warning is justified. be glad it's not a X day suspension.

To a certain extent, I agree with cstkl1 that the "kopitiam" style of posting/speaking/typing (...) is getting to be very widely used in other "serious" (or what is deemed to be at least serious) subforums.

BUT, I believe that some of us as "non-kopitiam style" members can make a difference. Don't be like them. Simple. If others do silly things. You don't like it. Don't follow.

To the TS, have patience. If you dislike the way someone speaks or even flames, IGNORE. That is the safest.

just thought that in the hardware section u guys are obligated for point out facts.

the other day i pointed out lyn control panel and forums etc the way it was structred to another owner of a forum on how good it is etc..

he said this " lyn is pretty good but " he will never let the hardware forum go to that extent of actually having no basis.
I asked him whats the reason . Cause the internet is widely available and if that forums is THE forum in malaysia it does influence buying decisions. ..

anyway i made my point. and uve heard it. so i am thank full atleast for that much.

but if the complainee had a valid reason for my taunting of his remarks.. then please prove it to me that his remarks was justified. i seriously dont see the hardware forum being a discussion of i hurt your feelings crap thing going on.

I dont know a lot of things in computer and hence whatever i say if somebody was to correct it via anyway i will accept it and find the facts.. or even asked the person to explain instead of claiming this that arent true..

anybody who takes 3dmark06 as a measurement of real performance gaming is bonkers.
