Hi. I keep getting notification emails from my wtb thread in garage sales even though I have closed the thread and unsubscribe to it. No one can reply but email says people replied. Any ideas why?

Also share a screenshot of the emails you are receiving? We have had a backlog issue with notification email, so if your topic is fairly recent, and the notification was never received before, it could be due to that. Do PM me a screenshot of the email(s) and we'll look into it.

Attached the screenshot. I've deleted some this morning. The thread is locked and I still get notifications from the people replied previously.

as mentioned, if you didn't receive these notifications previously, the notifications you received are due to the clearance of backlogs from the system.

However if you've received the notifications before, and continue to receive the same notifications again, do let us know. Otherwise this issue is a one off due to a backlog stemming from an update to our mail delivery system.

I've already received the email and continue to receive it now. From the same people who originally replied to the thread. After I posted here few hours ago, I get 3 new notification emails. I've deleted those as well. For example, I have received and deleted more than 20 notification emails from one user (see attachment). The user only replied one or twice in the original thread. I have received in total more than 60 notification emails from three different users. I think this must be a problem on the server side, spamming my inbox with notification emails.

yes, i also keep getting the same old notification even though i already unsubscribed those that keep appear in my email as well

What triggered email in my case:
I noticed that if I reply with quote to individuals,then immediately lock the thread, I keep getting emails from the people who I quote. Even though they don't reply.

Maybe I should placed lyn emails under junk/spam

I noticed for my case, LYN sends email every 35 mins

no feedback from admin?

nothing yet after last Se7en reply. Maybe they are investigating.

I have made a rule to move all emails to junk folder. Peace for now.
