I want to buy ikea tables and chairs online. I'm not at home. How is the delivery like? I want them to leave everything at the car porch. Can they do it?

Delivery charges for ikea is from 98.

If you are not at home, why not rent a pickup or lorry and pick ur item from ikea whenever you are available..sure it will cost slightly more but you dont have to worry about things getting stolen from porch or getting damage by pet or nature

The chair can load into a car during purchase la. Why need delivery for?

I never opt for delivery due to cost. In fact, I bought 3 sets of Ikea kitchen cabinets and load into my old Kia Sorento in 1 trip. Only need 2 people to unload it later and another 1 hour to assemble it.

They can put at porch but will ask for signature, wasap picture then sign.

Because I work everyday. I don't think they deliver at night (after 9pm).

Try asking help from a neighbour.....

Tell him/ her, what did you buy... how many items.... ask to help open your house gate to let the delivery ppl to come in...

Then help sign. 😁

Then take pic WhatsApp you....

Anything goes missing after that, not neighbour's responsibility.

Dulu-dulu, I bought a set of dining table/ chairs (from HarveyNorman), they delivered wrong chairs. They gave me 2 long benches. Table was correct one.

Yes. Self assembled. Never took pics because was in a hurry to to set up the kitchen.

In fact, 60% of all the furniture at home all from Ikea. I bought during promos and transport back home and self assembled.

My home office is using mixture of old and new Ikea Hejne racks. I modded to make it look like an office cubicle.

I have phobia with wooden furniture, termites are a nightmare

I treated mine with termite chemical before assembly. Safe for humans and pets. Very simple to apply. Just paint on.

Yes but termites will still attack it especially pine wood. Too delicious.

mind to share the product (i know you're not agent) my subsale house before got infested by termite, just want to double sure to prevent it to happen again
