i would definitely suggest a coordinator. you'll need someone to keep follow the agenda to keep track on time, coordinate with the vendors, make sure everyone (bride/groom/parents/bridesmaid,groomsmen) to looks good, they are also the runners). you'll be surprised at all the little things that coordinators do that adds a whole lot of value to the wedding. the bride and groom should not be thinking of it.

i had one, or i had friends to help on this and it made it so much better.

Additionally, emcees are definitely not a good idea to be your coordinator. they should focus on talking and getting the crowd excited for the couple/wedding. the coordinators are the ones who directs the emcees.

if you might not have enough expenses for a coordinator, can try to get a friend/family to help.
