Hello,

For anyone porting in to Hotlink, they have an issue onboarding customers.

Monday
I went to the Maxis centre at Gardens on Monday noon to port over. They went thru the process and gave me a SIM. Reply 'yes' to port in sms, blah blah.

Tuesday
24 hours later no sms. I called their customer service. They told me to go back to Gardens as registration process was incomplete. I said how can it be since I received a SIM card from them. They check with a manager and says they will follow thru on their end. Reply 'yes' to port in sms, blah blah.

Wednesday
Another 24 hours later no SMS. I called their customer service again. This time customer service told me they have had an issue with porting in customers since Saturday. Expect SMS soon.

Thursday
Still no SMS.

Maxis, Maxis, Maxis... knock.gif

I went to another Maxis centre. Tried another 4 times. In total, it took them 7 tries to port over. Finally received the sms re porting.

I'm porting in from Yoodo. I don't know whether it was Yoodo or Maxis that was the issue rclxub.gif

SP54 mean Maxis selected other Telco instead of Celcom as Donor network. Yoodo is Celcom.

Yoodo . Its because you're porting into Hotlink Aka Maxis.
You should had follow up with Yoodo which handles the port out from Yoodo to maxis.
If you dont receive SMS from Yoodo means its from their side.

not necessarily. if hotlink did not send the request to the right telco, it will be rejected on the basis that the phone number does not belong to that telco.

For the same Axiata network, me prefer TuneTalk compared to Yoodo.

TT has all the Yoodo offerings with extra services like Hotline Customer Support, VoLTE & VoWiFi auto-activated and can buy plans even within 45 days Grace Period...

The problem with Yoodo is Customer Support is horrible. Must use keyboard to seek for help. Not me's choice to type and type and type and type and type to seek help...talking is faster and more efficient...

TT is more pricey than yoodo. TT payu internet charges scared me away.
