if u think the tripod cant hold, then dun force it.. remove the batt grip, better safe than sorry..

with the price... i think got Sakure around that price.. not that heavy.. and there is a hanger in the midle that you can out bag in it to Stable it. not sure what model....but that should be fine for you...

Personally, better go for ManF as it's can be vertical and horizontal adjust for Macro used... and more stable, as your camera will be more expensive and expose to danger when using lighter pod, and somemore when u add on, ur light weight pod will be useless...

Any suggestions as to where to get the best prices for ManF's?

I've seen some over at 1Utama but not sure if the prices are the best on offer and if they had the 190.
