QUOTE(new in IT @ Oct 5 2007, 03:15 PM) This comes in very handy, but pricey for something of this height. But can be attached to light poles and tree brances to compensate for the lack of height.Threadstarter didnt specify what type? Looking for those 5ft ones? To be used on P&S cam, Prosumer or DSLR? |

mr frind bought a vistory tripod for rm300+ he was quite unlucky though...its legs went loose after 8 days...but it its more of luck if you buy those type of brands... he was so piss off coz while he was adjusting the legs the whole thing tumbled over...his kitlens cracked..lucky body no problem...haha...so he straight went for manfrotto...but since you are using for indoors..i don think there would be any problem...

with the price... i think got Sakure around that price.. not that heavy.. and there is a hanger in the midle that you can out bag in it to Stable it. not sure what model....but that should be fine for you...
Personally, better go for "manfrotto" as it's can be vertical and horizontal adjust for Macro used... and more stable, as your camera will be more expensive and expose to danger when using lighter pod, and somemore when u add on, ur light weight pod will be useless... And 055proB, how tall does it go? suitable to take picture of someone standing? rm450 for the set? where did u get em? the 141RC is an old model, but as long as it works fine, who cares if its old or new model... I'm looking for a tripod to replace the ones i got for free when i got my 350d. Gonna use to to take potrait photos as well as macro and scenery photos. Can suggest a suitable tripod? Budget around 400-500. it's a 3 way head btw, holds up to 6KG. the 055ProB maximum height is around 176CM, taller than me when fully extended, add on the head, i think the camera is standing @ around 180CM the center column can be placed horizontally for special purpose and macro. mine is bought as used set, but still in very very good condition. if ur budget is around RM500, i think u can get the 190XproB with a ball or 3 way head for RM500+, the 190XproB is slightly smaller and lighter than the 055proB, but the center column can be placed horizontally without removing it, so, more convenient. if u have more budget, then take a look at the latest 055XproB, it can hold more weight compared to 190 series. the 055 and 190 series should be the best selling model from manF. |

Any suggestions as to where to get the best prices for ManF's?
I've seen some over at 1Utama but not sure if the prices are the best on offer and if they had the 190. |
