I am currently bonded at SG comp with 3 month salary pay if break it, I don't need to pay if get fired. And I really want to leave. I don't think they want me there as well as I'm getting drowned in work.

Best answer I gt so far is talk to HR, and say that you need to go back malaysia with valid reasons , ask them to consider to release the bond.

Is there a "time limit" to this bond? Like if you quit before 6mths you have to pay it back or something?

Yes the bond is 1.5 years , payback 3 month salary

Can stay for 1.5yrs first then chow? Maybe by then you won't think of leaving probably.

Question is why did you join the company in the first place when you know you are going to be bonded?
Does the company give you any expectation during interview?

Why do you suddenly want to quit? What duties do you perform that you are bonded?

Audit Accountancy firm? Heard employer locked employee due to high turnover. If you had signed the employment letter with bonded clause, MOM also cant help you though. If you dont plan to work SG anymore. Just leave for good and return to your home country to work then.

I agree. Wanting to go SG to work "just because" is not even a reason to go. I am taking a quick guess OP just wanna go because of bigger currency, that's all. Which is a very naïve thought process if you think about it lol
