Quiet or not I don't care as long as the driver brings me to my destination. 5 stars

Some drivers are talkative I'm ok with it. Just layan je takde ape2 not so boring.

I ok with talking but it must come from driver 1st.

It's even more awkward because both of us would be like "OK don't talk don't talk"

Most of the times i dont speak to the driver and they also keep quiet. Ok wat Pleasant ride

give tissue sanitizer water at back, smell good ride, clean ride, very safe ride, ,good music,help people angkat stuff or open door for u

I don't think this is necessary this is some kind of restriction on social behavior.

We malaysian are friendly people, if driver talks to us we talk to them.

The thing is the normal rides are OPTIONAL when come to talking. If the driver see got lenglui or lengchai in car, sure will take advantage to ask this and that - which not many ppl will appreciate.

With this quiet option, can report to Grab that you opt for a quiet ride, but the driver instead become "radio".

Wait till you get one who wanna talk politics with you, or try to "know you better".

My last Grab driver talk too much is was so horrendous.

After I take out hp to answer a call he keep on talking too.

I only give tips when
- car arrives on time
- safe driver
- clean car
- driver is quiet. I only need to say hi and thank you,bye.

If the driver is talkative. I won’t tip.

Where got talkative, most if not all will only start talking once you start a conversation with them. But yes some will keep talking until nonstop because boring for them ma whole day drive. Just entertain je

This option is good for those who wants to brings a dead body, some drugs or weapons ... driver will just drive you to your place no questions ask lol ...

I have no issues shooting the breeze but i got bad experience with some older folks. The more animated they are on the subject, their concentration slips on the road. Last minute breaking, lane change. Dont make for a pleasant ride

I don’t understand why this is made into a feature? I think most drivers get the cue if you’re not keen to talk. There’s only one time I had to tell a white lie to the driver that I’m having a headache and I want to nap a while.

Pleasantries aside, it's quiet enough for me on a ride.

But once i had to politely ask the uncle driver to concentrate on the road...he had been kinda straining and struggling to make conversation.

The reason for this feature is to make it more obvious beforehand that the passenger doesn't want to have a conversation at all

Before u try to say something like "why not put in remark" "drivers will get it" blah blah blah, let me remind that not all drivers read the remark and not all drivers know how to read the atmosphere, some drivers which are too talkative will still try to start a conversation and then expect you to respond and then it will become more awkward if u don't respond, of course it is ur right to not respond at all but not everyone is able to do it due to manners and shit

Having this feature, I can indirectly tell the driver to be quiet and focus on the goddamn road, saves myself from all the awkwardness.

Many follow gps and end doing u-turn becos not updated when new flyover when wanted to goto my hse. Kecian use extra petrol. Not all tech so smart like u
