TS, should put the rumours about ultra naming on new model, total will be 5 model next year, getting usb port instead of lightning, most probably e-sim model for all, periscopic lens for ultra mode

it depend on centre linear if they want to waive or not.... so far i only manage to get waive only once out of 5 contract that i hold with maxis until now.... the contact was about a month away from expire....

Dang, my preorder last night was disaster.... Log in website and place order for the phone.... maybank decided to close the apps for maintenance at 12am.... try to go for atome but unable to do so....due to credit issue...got panic, when place booking order for maxis on switch website....

This morning try again using atome payment...realize i forget to set my limit 6K on my card.... after set limit of my card, retry again and the payment when thru no problem doh.gif

plan to cancel maxis pre order and go for machine or itworld since switch sold out the unit .... doh.gif

I order mine from switch website that link to maxis on midnight pre order launch.... you can check with the representative of maxis as i did when i register a new line and i was told base on the allocation of switch i will be in the first batch.... so finger cross for me

alternatively, you can check with maxis sales person if you preorder from switch webiste but under maxis package... i did mine too...they also told me im in the first batch based on their allocation list so i simply had to wait for switch to call instead of maxis due collection at the centre..... this is my first time doing collection at centre.... i prefer delivery because lzay to find parking and Q for the phone

Maybank will ussually auto delete you old phone and request to pair with new phone when register on new phone.... HSBC need to manual delete...else you had to call to centre to delete for you....

Dang, no midnight collection ? i was thinking of collecting at midnight at QB too... guess i had to make time for collection and hopefully the Q is not long.....

That one thing about machine.... during when i preorder i benchmark both switch and machine.... and seem machine had less privilege when it comes to preoder.... at switch, i get to select ship on the same date or ship as normal.... machine had this status ship on the same day too but didn't not allow user to select them.... i guess this year machine is playing safe on the pre order.....heck even switch is not doing any midnight pick up too

I order machine before last time on my 13 pro and i was lucky it ship one the launch date.....

i had the similar scratch on mine as well (black titanium) but mine is not that obvious as the frame is black but if you see it closely and on certain angle .... you can see the similar line....i used finger to rub off it would just go away and comeback if i rub it with microfiber cloth....

the staff at switch are just dumb fold when i told them about the scratch.... They just speechless and make poker face at the same time, they don know what to do.... but try to pretend they didn't see it and wanted to get this quickly ended by shove to customer that it is ok and normal due to titanium material and they wanted to used the store sample for comparison..... i told them i cannot used your store ones to compare as ppl had been pulling out the phone and place them back in charge ....

obviously there will be scratches bound to happen on your unit which cannot bench mark with open box... further more the lighting in that sample area a dim where their service center are bright white lit … then they proceed to get the open unit on the next customer to show me .... which is blue color....

although there is no scratch to be found but i notice there is severe discoloration on the frame....but the customer gladly accept it as they are just too happy to receive their new iPhone and walk away after return to them doh.gif ....seem that ppl just don care and would happily accept their phone with such defect.... Malaysian are too linear when it comes to quality doh.gif

i end up talking to the supervisor and they had no choice but to give me a replacement unit.....honestly this could been better resolve if they just admit that is a scratches and give me replacement instead of wasting my time just waiting there....

one thing i want to point out....it seem blue seem to having high possibility of discoloration on the frame... i notice on one of the open box unit and also sample in the switch sample.....
