interesting, my 13 Pro Max was at 78% after 2 years despite only charging once a day (at night). probably because i let it run down all the way to <10% everyday.

ditched that phone already, now using 15 Pro 🤩

wait i thought standard 24MP is just between HEIF and JPEG? while the HEIF MAX, PRO MAX and PRO RAW are Pro modes - which means that they are separate entities altogether.

personally prefer HEIF for standard and PRO RAW for Pro modes.

Always-On display, team on or off?

i do too, i find the AOD a little distracting and i noticed myself looking over my phone all the time when it is on the table.

my AOD is currently on, but with notification off. still thinking if i should keep it and is it worth the 5-8% battery drain everyday.

i am guessing the burn-in won't be too bad since the display is at 1Hz and the brightness is dimmed unlike conventional OLEDs which are more prone to burn-in. Maybe some 14Pro users can shed some light on this

check if your charge optimization is on or off

yeah i feel that the transfer from previous models of iPhone to the 15 is so much more painful than the previous versions. i had so many issues trying to transfer my data over, getting Whatsapp to sync and eventually lost 6+ hours of Whatsapp chats due to backup and sync issues.

my Mujjo leather case just arrived today, 2/3 of my casings arrived. one more to be shipped.

the leather does feel nicer, full grain feels a little more grainier and rougher compared Apple and Nomad of the past. i love how slim the sides are, no added bulk but it doesn’t look like its gonna save my phone from a 6ft drop 😂

as much as i understand how much we love or baby our phones, i think the current visibility of cycle count has made us a little more sensitive towards the way we use our phones or even charge it.

in the end, our phones are just devices that enable us to go through our day to day tasks.

its okay, we’re on the same boat.

honestly as much as people care about Battery Health or Cycle Count, there will still be buyers - just need a little more time. heck, i sold my 13PM @ 78% battery health for market price without compromising. defo doable.

using one too, no sharp edges at all. its rounded.
