For those looking for timeline, here's mine. If not, this serves as a reference for future iPhones Apple Store POs.

Time ordered: 22/10/23 12:20am (as per email received)
Exact config: iPhone 15 Pro Max 512GB Natural Titanium
Initial given timeframe: 10/10 - 17/10
Updated timeframe: 11/10 - 18/10
When shipped timeframe given: "Arrives 19 October 2023"
Actual arrival date: 18 October 2023

Apple Store statuses
Processing status: 22/10 - 10/10 or 11/10 (can't remember, lazy scroll back)
Preparing to ship status: 1010 or 11/10 - 13/10
Shipped status: 13/10

Possible causes of delay:
1) China's golden week (1st Oct - 7th Oct)
2) Most stocks went towards AAR instead of Apple
3) Initially was shipment via sea but I guess with mounting pressure from buyers, they changed back to using air shipment instead.

Some "fun fact(s)" for iPhone 15 year release:
1) Apple Store PO customers DID NOT GET their phones on launch day. Earliest was a week after the launch day which is around 5-6th October (please correct me if I'm wrong)
2) AARs got the most stocks with easy returns if defect was found. Telco's DGAF.
3) Blue Titanium was the least sought after colour.
4) 15 and 15Plus stocks were plenty throughout the order fulfilment period (also as of time of writing)
5) There were hiccups for transferring data over from old iPhone to new iPhone on launch day (iinm was caused by a bug in iOS 17.0.2)

That’s a good price - my trade-in price for iPhone 12 Pro 128GB from Harvey Norman was RM1,700 for 88% battery health, decided to keep the phone and only sell once i get my 15PM.

using Hoda RM89, no tempered glass issue with amazing thing case...another one i'd recommend is amazing thing tempered glass, should be more or less the same as hoda, same price RM89... and can they are available in most AASPs, easy to find/install..

Maybe cause sales isn’t that good? Less people buying this year and retailers overstocked. The 14 Pro year sold really well, so probably they overestimated. In China iPhone sales was down more than 20percent.
