Just weighing in on the SenQ/Senheng extended warranty discussion. A long time ago, when dinosaurs rule the earth, I bought a device from Senheng called the HTC Diamond (you young fellas may want to Google what that is, hahaha). Anyway, the phone went dead after 15 months or so - I can’t recall now if it was the power or the screen. Anyway, I was entitled to the extended warranty so I brought it back to Senheng - and I think I didn’t get it back till like 3-4 months later. Following up with them on the status of repair was just awful - no one seems to have a clue on the estimated repair times, bla bla bla. So yeah, the warranty works, but claiming it could be a tedious affair.
Of course, that was ages ago. Maybe it’s better now? Anyways, touch wood that I never did have another extended claim from them despite buying may devices from them again since then till now…
