Very peculiar. I think the person who you spoke to is mistaken kua. Normally the courier companies are given very specific instructions not to deliver till the launch day.

Yours so fast? Minor still at assigning to driver. These courier sometimes just simply put failed attempt  i kena many times before on Shopee.

i feel not to worry, usually courier unable to deliver parcel, they dont have other option, just put attempt failed
the delivery company might receive instruction only to deliver this Friday, but then parcel with them, so not today, not tomorrow, so just attempt delivery failed 

like shopee, i always at home whole day, but end of the day, they maybe too many parcel, they put "attempt delivery failed", instead they unable to deliver so many parcels in one day

I remember during ip12, my new ip12p had arrived at gdex near my home 3 days earlier than Day 1. But no matter what excuse or reason i gave… they cant released it. So grabbed it at their office on Fri 08:30am once they raised up the roller shutter door..
