to be fair, it has the advantage of hassle free 1 to 1 exchange within 14 days.

if there is any prob with the reseller set, it will be a lot of hassle...

in lion city, once u collected the iphone from the telco, the telco will not do anything for u, even it is having any kind of problems later  the next moment u step out from the shop. any prob u must go back to apple. and unlikely u will get a brand new set for 1 to 1 exchange even it is within one day. any issue at most apple will just repair for u under the standard warranty.

so the telco staff will always ask u to check that it is ok even comestically before u step out the shop.

I consider myself unlucky + yes this year’s QC seems to be lacking. Never had such issue since iPhone 2, had abit of hiccups with iPad pros (gen 3 screen irresponsive), others are smooth.
Malaysia also 14 days replacement, not sure about refund. Put freebies aside, when you’re unlucky you would appreciate services like these, where they change 1 to 1 without delay or further questioning.

I think once Apple Store opens here I’ll not buy from elsewhere, don’t want the freebies, rather go with good after sales. And I’ll mostly bid goodbye to telco contracts too, with all the plans getting cheaper and cheaper, no point going for 2 years contract + buying from them (third party)…this will most likely be my last contract…

Cuz i just this time starting to invest on wireless.. car mount, batt bank etc..

Wireless some says 50/50 dissipate higher temp & logically 50/50 less batt %..
