hello everyone,

i just bought a nokia 7610 from one forumer name AHSENG84,

bank-in in sunday evening and received YESTERDAY!!(2 DAYS!!)-might be POSLAJU PROBLEM

later when i switch on the HP,no problem occured for the software,everything running smoothly..

but later i found, THE KEYPAD is HARDEST TO PRESS and there are password for MEMORY CARD..

i SMSed the seller and asking for the password,and thanx GOD it solved(he sms me the code)...but about the keypad problem,the seller said that he HAD TEST IT before send to me..

ok, i argue that he said the phone 100% PROBLEM FREE! and he said thats normal for 2nd hand hp,better buy new if want the PERFECT one...i'm not a fussy buyer friend looking on housing(although it 15% scratch),but there is a problem for hardware..the keypad UP,DOWN,OK and number 3 button have to press hard(upside button)! i alrdy try change with my friend 7610 keypad but it same..i also tried press without keypad same too..

ok, i suggested to him,if he cant believe me i can return back the hp and he return back my money,but he said only RM320 will be return back as he said for his FUEL PETROL, queue 45 minutes at poslaju + posting fees..its not fare friend.. (i bought rm375 include posting fees)

later,i said to him..if like that forget bout it.but,so u said u give me personal warrnty for one week, so i want to claim it..i fix here,and he pay me..but he still argued...

i asking one shop here about the problem,and the handphone shop man said it cost around RM35(after negotiate,becoz normal price rm50) to fix new kaypad board!...haiya....

if, any forumer live aroundhere,nearby GOMBAK,u can see me and i let u test the hp by your ownself...

so, just asking around here about forumer's opinion here..and MR AHSENG84,we settle this matter togetehr here.as what you and me agree for the TERM ONE WEEK PERSONAL WARRNTY..tq

He did give u 1 week personal warranty didn't he. Then he should be responsible for the warranty since its not a week when u got the phone yet.

@To Seller, If u cannot give out personal warranty and don't mention it next time, now u said it means u have to help the buyer to solve his problems.

most 2nd hand hp sellers that give 1 week personal warranty means they either take back the phone and fix it OR they will take back the phone and give FULL REFUND of the amount paid by the buyer (if the seller cannot fix the phone)

@kcgboyz.. Pls PM the seller to come here and explain.

the seller should return FULL MONEY paid by buyer..there is no such FUEL PETROL, queue 45 minutes at poslaju + posting fees

already pm him..maybe he busy now..
if not refund 100% back,he fix for me its also enough....
or let me fix and he pay me

okay, here is what you can do. You send back to him, you bear poslaju also. So break even there.

As for refund, i think it's fair for him to refund only the cost of the phone. Deduct what ever poslaju cost which should be around RM10. No such things as deduct time and petrol and so on. You go shop buy also they won't refund you for your petrol and parking, right?

Wa...But U got this phone very expensive....Not worth....Hai.....

i LOLed when he said "deduct petrol and time"...thats absurd lar...and you deducted almost rm55...you are not CEO or smth....

btw..i think you should just post it back to him..and call him refund...and i mean RM375...no more no less...you bare for the postage enough edi... he is considered cheating edi...coz if its keypad board problem...i don think it occured while it was in the posting process...

Another option is, u send to repair, take the receipt and pricing for the seller and ask him to pay u..

yup im back,bz a bit,soli all forumer for long waiting...

tis fon im helping my fren selling,

so after d buyer bank in for me(sunday),i ask my fren boro d fon for me,coz i told him i need2 double check it weither gt problem o not(i gt check b4,no prolem at all),

then he pass2 me at sunday evening,i put in my simcard n check it,

press all button not problem at all(bt d button 3 gt a bit hard2 press),

then my fren told me is keypad problem,ask buyer change a new keypad,

then I USE MY OWN MONEY BUY A NEW KEYPAD N CHANGE FOR HIM(buyer u can check d pic keypad n ur fon keypad,its change oredi),

after tat i testing ITS OK N NO PROBLEM LAGI...

so i promise d buyer i GUARANTEE POST2 HIM AT MONDAY,I NO BLUFF U LOLZ,

then i monday around 1150pm i go2 post2 him(i can scan d customer copy of pos laju n post here)...

then wednesday afternoon he sms me ask me d password n tell me d key gt problem,

after tat i call my fren n ask password n tell him d problem,

my fren told me d password n say d key is no problem,onli d keypad problem,ask him change keypad,

then i told him i oredi change n test all ok no problem oredi...

BT D BUYER STILL SAY ITS GOT PROBLEM,ASK ME REPAIR FOR HIM,O ASK ME REFUND...

ok,i gt gif 1 week personal warranty,i can refund,at d first i oso plaining refund rm360 for him,

bt after tat i thinking a while,i feel tat tis buyer is wanna play me(mayb he is not really wanna buy my fon),

1st i offer him rm380,he told me rm370,i go2 hp shop ask if trade in can get rm340,then my fren sell2 me rm350...

so at last i sell2 buyer rm375 wf post,i onli earn rm12.50...

then i very angry,then tell him i onli can refund rm320 to him,he dun wan...

ahseng84.....i agree with u and stand at ur side although i duno u as all
kcgboyz ......how ur button after change a new keypad ? if the button can't be press due problem on the fon PCB it is really the sellers mistake unless he got tell u before selling

Here's one thing.

Dont give out personal warranties unless u would agree to handle all the problems occured during the period.

I personally would give a 1-week warranty on items that I sell (here in LYN and in real life) and I would bear anything that the buyer is not satisfied. Why? Because its the ethical thing to do.

Anyway, if he's really just playing with u, he wont even bother asking u to repair it, now would he? The fact that he's fine with just repairing the phone would mean that he intends to use it, and not just to waste each other's time.

Okay, screw the refund. Just ask him to send back the phone to u and U bring the phone to a shop and get it repaired/change keypad/whatever.

Not too hard, would it?

for me, i think the best solution the buyer return to phone to seller, and the seller repair it

u can bring to phone shop ask what is actually happen to the phone...

btw 1 week personal warranty not mean the seller hv @ need to refund the money, in 1 week period if got any prob seller hv to take any nessery action if got any prob, maybe send for repair or etc (not just refund the money unless it can't be used any more)

believe me, i've face same prob, i send to phone shop to fix it, and i free(no charge)

so far i've no prob with the seller, coz my current phone also bought from him...

This is the problem.. personal warranty given out means u have to do ur job, even if 1 week 4 days ur product occur problems and ur warranty stated 1 week warranty, what to do, help solve the problems lo. Its not say like given 1 week, u done the keypad change and tats it, but when another problem occurs within that week, u have to help the buyer to solve the next problem already, not to say that u help him change the keypad and you have played your role.

Sikit sikit bising, pay only la Tradelist 14k, release few buck can die izzit? You test doesn't mean it will be perfect, even if the item spoil, i can say that the item is in perfect condition, so whose at fault now? It's not like he force u to pay few hundred buck for repair oso.
