damn.. i've been having this problem for few months already but quite reluctant to replace the starter as advised by the mechanic.

Maybe this relay can solve the problem, but the DIY looks scary to me. Any accessories shop can do this right?

dont worry bro
this is like one of the most common probs faced by sagas
just go to any workshop oso they can do
30 bucks tops
no idea y proton just doesnt retrofit a relay into the production
would solve the problem that everybody knows exists

I'll get it done this weekend then. I've been having this problem for almost a year... but it's not all the time. Even if it happens, usually I'll just wait for few minutes, 'jampi' sikit laugh.gif then it'll start again. So I was very reluctant to change the starter.

damn, I just noticed, the relay was wired way different than what u did. sweat.gif The relay was placed near to the battery, and they just messed around with few wires which were attached to the +ve batt cable. Is that ok?

The thing is i'm not sure whether this has really settled my car starter problem, or I happen to be just lucky for the past few weeks. How to be sure eh??

well...they are prolly tapping the main power directly from the battery
just check to c if they have cut your ignition key wire and connected it to your relay
and you should also see one running from the relay to the starter motor
then im guessing that one wire goes to the relay from the positive terminal of the battery and another from the negative terminal?

if thats all in place then i think should be no prob...just abit more messy lor sweat.gif

i'm sure they tap the power direc from battery and also wire the ignition key to the relay.. but I cant see anything running to the starter motor.

Damn where's the starter motor anyway? laugh.gif
