when interview, company always not telling the truth...like we are open, work life balance, help each other, bla bla. after join, damn toxic....

when candidate not telling the truth, very minor issue...then big hoo haa, terminate la

how to review the company other than glassdoor, jobstreet?

Glassdoor and Jobstreet is definitely one of the options. LinkedIn as well is another good avenue. It is good to be descriptive in your review of the company as well.

As such, if you attend face-to-face interview, you'll be able to pick up certain vibe from the work environment, interaction between the people there etc.

Otherwise the various from reviews from JobStreet and Glassdoor serves as good reference. Then again, it could be different position or division which may, or may not be relevant to the role/ dept you're applying for.

I guess a good way to judge would be to see where majority of the review is skewed towards. If 8 out of 10 is consistently saying the same thing, usually hardly far from the truth. Sometimes the best way to verify is to seek for some answer during interview session (by asking in an indirect approach to avoid offending the interviewer). Tricky indeed.

When you go interview, observe the interactions of the employees during interview. If you are waiting for interview in their office, also can observe your surroundings.
