i think he bought from lazada (tmt thunder). the rm3899 price is still on. if you have maybank credit card you can do 36 months 0% interest, making it rm113.86 a month...

3 years instalment is for a car, not for a phone. If a person cannot afford to buy a phone outright, it means you cannot afford it. Please do not fall into the BNPL or instalment trap. No wonder so many young adults bankrupt. rclxub.gif

This iPhone 14 only worth RM3.3k IMHO. 3899 is still expensive. Should have called iPhone 13S whistling.gif

It is not a major upgrade in spec. But a major upgrade for ease of screen replacement

I am expecting huge discount on iphone 14/14 plus soon.. which is bad news for existing iphone 14 buyer.. 2nd hand value also..

Turn out I am correct.. I can saw some of discount is happening now.. well, if it still don’t sell well, will discount again so don’t rush to buy.. this scene is quite similar to gpu price. Good luck for those iphone 14 owner. 1 month start discount.. o.o epic failure for apple market the price

You are missing one important ingredient in your rebuttal….INTEREST FREE.

Even if one can afford to cough up the required sum, he/she would be smart not to when he/she can amortize it over a certain longer period culminating at the end, having to pay the same amount.

hi guyssss i jus bought iPhone 14 plus. Upgrade from iPXs Max.

Thought wanna wait another year to get iPhone with USB C. Manatau my 3 yrs old daughter drop my phone n screen byebye. lol

The performance out performed too much for every aspect but I miss 3D touch very much thou.

I'm Genshin fan, back in Xs, I can barely play the game in Med + 30 FPS setting. n it will getting pretty hot in less ventilation environment.

But now I can run Highest + 30FPS setting in almost all the environment I'm in. I'm so happy now can enjoy the open world.

I sign from Celcom. No nit upfront. My package is 120 + 184 for phone. 24 months. My old package was RM150.

184 x 24 = RM4416.00

n the phone i get is iP14 Plus 256GB, retail price is RM5,199.

I save ~RM780 at the end and dont need pay lump sump at once.

Depends how you look at it. Do you need a RM120 telco package every month? If yes then it's worth it. If not you're paying an overpriced contract for nothing. Most people house/office have WIFI and can live with RM30-40 per month telco plan. That's when sticking to cheaper plan + buying outright is cheaper. That's the reason telco only bundle expensive plan for iPhone. They are making big profits with overpriced plans.

i been using that package for i think 4-5 yrs dy. my work of natural need that much. Data also most of the month ngam ngam only.

and +, RM120 already downgrade dy. last time was RM150.

Edit:
so in term of stapled daily expenses, its actually cut down a little bit. i can have few more coffees monthly. haha

if ppl actually fully utilize the postpaid plan, than getting a device bundle is definitely worth it. cheaper and 0% interest free for 2 yrs payment.

True. At first very much interested to sign up the plan. After some deep thoughts, rather go for cheaper package, 40 telco plan + 12mo phone instalment. Long term, save more. smile.gif Follow advise from an old fren.

Lol what kind of stupid assumption is this? If i have the cash to buy outright and the option for 0% interest instalment, i will choose the latter and the money i saved can generate me more money.

The fact that you need to generate more money from a mere RM5k makes you sound so pathetic. How much money can you make from RM5k? Investment comes with risk and what makes you think you won't lost money? Non risk investment like FD? Pathetic RM5k can get you how much extra for 1 annum? doh.gif
