Aircon man confirms no leaks during the top up. I don't ever remember my 15 yo aircon system has any leaking problem, except periodical topping up of gas.

Yes, feeling hot at idle or slow road speed say after 11 am.

Have you change before your aircon compressor oil? Mine same problem as yours last time. If idle and not moving aircond hot. Purging the old oil out and putting in new oil solves it.

During 3-4 times of topping up aircon gas so far, I don't know whether compressor oil is ever topped up or not, especially the current top up.

I've not done any vacuum/recharge so far, as I thought that is not necessary.

Usually it needs around 45min to 1 hour to cycle out old oil n purge in the new oil. It uses a machine, you wont miss it. However if the compressor already damaged, then it wont help anymore.
