QUOTE(Voopoo @ Aug 22 2022, 02:21 PM) can anyone recommend any comfortable riding shoes that i can walk and ride with?
More protection = less walking comfort More walking comfort = less protection I have yet to find motorcycle-specific boots that are comfortable enough to walk around in all day. The ones that are, are hardly any diff from street shoes... except for the expensive price.

QUOTE(jaycee1 @ Aug 26 2022, 01:08 PM) Full leather ones will probably fair better in terms of waterproofing. But if it was full leather, you'd be looking at 600-1000 ish already. I would change my boot every year instead. Full leather boots are easy to waterproof. All it takes is saddle soap to clean the boots, once it has air-dried just apply mink oil to restore water repellency. Mink oil also works great for leather gloves, belts & handbags to stop the leather from drying out & cracking up. For the rainy season, I also apply water repellent spray (Collonil Carbon Pro). I hate plastic boots - my Gaerne ones literally disintegrated all by itself after a few years. Admittedly it stayed on the shoe rack in the house a lot because it was crap to walk around in. Nice for hooning around in Batu 3, Sepang, Genting & Bukit Tinggi, but a pain in the ass for everything else.
