QUOTE(weiheng @ Aug 22 2022, 11:31 AM) Any tyre recommendation for CRV 2018 model? Also original tyre size is 235/65R17 but tyre shop said no stock and suggesting 225/65R17. Is it okay to change tyre size? Still sing stock RIM btw. As a tire engineer, you should not just change tire size just because there is no stock. based on my price table there are 3 options. Continental UC6 SUV 235/65R17 488 Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 235/65R17 435 Michelin Primacy SUV 235/65R17 (SUV PLUS) 660 UC6 SUV seems like a good option here.

QUOTE(jolipoli81 @ Sep 5 2022, 03:43 PM) I also have similar dilemma. My tyres are 205/55R17, and it is very very rare to find it in here in Malaysia. Most of the people in the car group just upgraded to a bigger and common 215/55R17. Price seems cheaper too as it is more common. Any suggestion if I do that? I found only one site which says they have Dunlop DO5 here, might worth to check out. Technically it is possible to upgrade to 215/55R17, but you will need to be aware about your speedometer as you now have 10mm+ more outer diameter + you need to have the extra 10mm spacing. Upside is that you should get a wider footprint which will help in wet braking but a higher sidewall which will help in comfort. Not too bad from my opinion....
