Want to share my experience with Kajang (took on Jan 5, 2023, renewed on 23/12/22)

First had the picture alignment issue, just make sure it's not a flipped selfie and the focal length allows your both ears to be seen clearly. Ask someone else to help take. Phones generally have a harder time taking this, so place it further and then crop the picture to size, worked for me.

After that second try, they process about a week (even though I did see a message gambar tiada masalah, sila rujuk....) They sent me an appointment email, took a time on the same day, went to Kajang, no need to queue. Drop your old passport and other docs together in the basket at the counter towards the far left when you enter. I waited about 30+ mins and they called my name.
