I was at machines earlier and compared all the colours, silver is indeed nicest amongst the lot, only thing is if you want people to know you are using the latest, to make your moment spent well, then it has to be purple unfortunately.. especially for those who upgrade yearly, they tend to stick to colour of the year coz it's already very little to look forward, colour being one of it..

On paper the iphone 14pm battery is better than iphone 13pm , last year when i got the 13pm the battery life surpassed my expectation. The battery performance outlast any other phone i’ve owned previously.
Should be the indexing causing the drain.

so technically the 14pm should have a better battery life than the 13pm..

tested a few things like without AOD, and dimmed AOD etc etc.. conclusion, 13PM has slightly better battery over 14 PM but its so little that you won't really notice it on a normal use..if I'm going to do a rough comparison though, my normal usage from morning till evening will have about 65% left....the 13 PM should have around 70-72% (just a rough estimation)...AOD takes away another 15-20% even with the dimmed focus..

I concur and can vouch too that my 14 Pro Max has equal, if not better battery life than my previous 13 Pro Max. Anyone who wants to test to compare the two must also remember to disable AOD on the 14 Pro Max - to make it a fair comparison. 😄

Tried to monitor my 14 Pro Max battery again today just to make sure the good battery performance I had yesterday was not a fluke. Haha.

Today was out the whole day since 7.00 a.m. and was on 4G mobile data 90% of the time as I was on the move constantly even until now. Battery seemed to sustain itself well.

Last charged to 100% yesterday midnight, and currently at 8.5 hours SOT. Usage wise remains the same with the usual suspects - WhatsApp, Safari, Phone Calls and Work Apps. 

Very impressed as I was running Mobile Data predominately. ❤️
And only connected to Wi-Fi for very short brief periods throughout the data.

From what I remember, my previous 13 Pro Max battery didn’t do so well under Mobile Data compared to Wi-Fi.

I have also disabled AOD, but will turn it on once in a while, just coz it’s cool

Also notice the 14PM charges faster than 13PM..

Which was also why my Fold 4 previously had to be literally tethered to a power bank the whole day. Such a relief not having to do that now with the iPhone! 😂

WhatsApp for me so far has no issues with background app refresh turned on on the iPhone.

Yes, same charger and cable..just a slight difference but noticeable..
