I want to change my tunetalk prepaid to postpaid and come across this unifi mobile.

Anyone here using it? Any good?
*
I using it, very good usage, but sometimes of course it got line down time or no Internet line not worst like other celcom, digi, maxis umobile. Monthly pay rm62.75 since got unifi home packages. Oh and sometime visit lytnet forum will get ip being banned 5min, if still visit lytnet forum will add more hour being banned coz lot using same ip. Meaning you have to stop visit for a while.

used it for 10 months, really hopeless, coverage sucks, customer service non existent , support for Volte limited to very few devices.
My advice is to steer clear of Unifi Mobile, sure regret

Been using for 2 years, all good

Their unlimited plans are decent, providing you have their limited coverage.
No unlimited calls. But better download speeds.

Got unlimited call lah & unlimited message also

True since both are TM owned but each one operate independently. If you see 3rd party coverage study, it is still not the same as Celcom. The RedOne is also Celcom line but where there are limited capacities, the priority goes to Celcom as network owner.

I switched to RedOne from Celcom when last time exxisting Celocom customer cannot switch to xPax 28. Then not long after that it was allowed. Now I did not see that package anymore I think. I'm also considering the Unifi mobile for my Android player in the car although the coverage is not that okay now but it has very good offer like unused data is not defaulted as long as your phone active and to be active, you just need to top-up as little as RM10 within 90 days. I think it is good to use for car. smile.gif

I've been using it mainly for it unlimited data. so far coverage in Ipoh area seem ok. In my workplace it actually get full 4G+ meanwhile Celcom drop to 1 bar in my office.

Convenience to use just topup whenever I need to use unlimited Data which u get the option to use daily, weekly or monthly. Price also pretty cheap. Best try with postpaid plan 1st to see if your area coverage is good enough to use it.

the sim will expire after 90 days of no activities, the credit/data wont expire if sim kept active
only need to make a call, send a sms or just surf to google page, then its kept active d

Unifi mobile user here. I'm using it more for non expiry purpose since 2017. I just top up RM 100 & slowly deduct the main balance for call package & for once data package. As far as I can say I work in Telok Panglima Garang, data is iffy depends on the location. Same as call quality. However in town like PJ & KL. It is great as I can do both nicely. Depends on your location of use.

Been using Unifi Mobile simcard for 4 years+ as my second phone simcard. My experience throughout the 4 years:

Pros
-No problem if you are in 4G covered area.

-No expiry mobile data, just need to be active every 90 days to maintain the line. If no activities within 90 days the sim card will be terminated automatically.

Cons
-If you are in low coverage area which has no 4G and the mobile data plan you got only support 4G, congratulation you are officially offline. So, buy some 3G mobile data as well, you can see the 3G and 4G choices through 'buy mobile data' in the app.

-Unifi mobile has no USSD code.
Reload and read balance only through unfi mobile app, no USSD code, unlike other telcos like maxis can dial *122# to check balance and reload.

-Experienced quite often the app went down whole day. When the app is down you can't do a reload and read balance. So make sure you have enough balance to make a call and enough data just in case the app is down.

edit: forgot to mention that i'm using prepaid.

Try use prepaid first, if you feel the line is ok then only commit to postpaid.

I used this for roughly 2 years.
My advice is, to check first for the coverage, namely your residential house and your workplace. In the beginning, the coverage was amazing. It used its own LTE coverage while piggy-riding on Celcom's 3G network. But once 3G was gone, the coverage was damn terrible.

not just the network, the call signal is really bad too. So eventually, I had to move to Digi. Unifi Mobile really gives the best value, IF you can use it. If not, it's totally useless.

My advice is, don't commit to the contract. Perhaps try it first for the first 2 months before deciding. Good thing is, that they offer non-contract plans at decent pricing.

i got unifi mobile as my backup number previously b4 porting out.
it's pretty alright when area covered by 4G.
when it falls to 3G, actually running on celcom network as non priority traffic, & bcom shitty.
hated the 3G & 4G data quota segregation.
though i'm not sure how it goes now after 3G network was shut down.
