No physical manual and service booklets.  download the pdf copy of manual from P2 web and read it.  https://eownersmanual.perodua.com.my/

for service booklets you can keep all the receipts for reference later.  if you install ufirst app, you can check all the history of your service.

Oh ya, your P2 salesperson should have shared and guide you on all these as well as the ufirst app.

One full pump can last me two weeks which roughly 450~480km with last bar remaining under normal driving mode.

Should test eco mode next time, hmm

Nope.  If sound from behind glove box, suggest:

1. remove glovebox.  Try driving going thru bumps and see if there is still sound.
2. if no sound, means there are some loose wire/object that is knocking the glovebox. just check all inside for any loose objects.  use cable ties to secure it if needed and retry to see if still got.

3. if still got sound, then there is something deeper.  visually check all inner side for loose objects.  Some time some socket (as example) knocking on certain parts.  visual check and also touch/move some of the parts to see if there is something knocking each other.

4. also take out the cabin filter..see if there is any object there..

5. do you have any new installation, such as dashcam, new wires etc that involves behind the glovebox...

So far owning this car for 5 month I didn't do any modifications or install anything inside .I will send the car end of this month see whether the SC can help rectify the problem or not.

Ya.. i do understand.. so many parts together, not perfect even we paying so much.

what to do.  Sometimes, some of this sound may need to check ourselves and fix it ourselves.  best if during your visit to SC, you can show them when going thru bumps it sounded. Else, after hours of checking by them, no sound found.

I feel ckd car quality really bad my cousin bought Toyota veloz dunno go how many time to service center complain on noises until got one time he really angry ask back the service center how many times u want me to come here.

Veloz, coming out from same P2 factory... workmanship and parts quality.  Luckily my Alza no issue on loose sound, except for brake 'yii yii' sound.
Even new house also not perfect.

Do share with us the outcome of finding the your issue. Maybe it helps just in case any other members here facing same issue.

Will update once I get it service ๐Ÿง

Pay RM90k for a Terukdah Alza, I am one of them.  sad.gif

List of problems:
1) Smelly hot metal smell right after driving up Bukit Lanjan / Duta Toll at NKVE, smell like slip clutch pack.
2) Weird steering centre, very loose, a lot of free play.
3) ICC with lane keep assist keep driving like "snake".
4) Sharp plastic trim door handle (veloz only door handle), a cutting hazard when using it, actually peel the skin of my palm and bleed once.
5) Excessive vibration when accelerating pass 40-60km/h, you can feel the whole car rattling.

Any Alza owners facing these issues except for #4?
*
The first one smelly ho metal probably is active sport mode drive rev the rpm to 4-5k
No 3 yes the acc is not smart
No 5 this one could be driveshaft rosak get it check at service center
No 2 try hear got sound or not if got high chance is steering rack problem get it check at service center claim warranty

Mine already 10000km steering rack n aircond blower in the middle rosak already claim warranty.Somemore the seat in the middle got spring sound๐Ÿ˜ข.
Whether buying alza or veloz both is same they share same platform n parts.
My cousin veloz absorber n drive shaft already rosak steering rack claim 3 times already.gearbox also rosak

Thanks for your help, managed to set up the auto-unlock.

The 2nd row seat = you are right, I meant the lever on the side of the seat that you need to press forward to release the seat for folding. I remember checking with the Service Rep during my first service & he said nothing can be done, it will be less stiff after use. But, so far, I am still having great difficulty to press the lever forward enough to release the seat. You know, when you have kids rushing to either get in or out of the 3rd row seats, such stiffness creates pressures on me biggrin.gif

Do u feel the 2nd row seat got spring noise when someone sit on it

Recently experienced the first problem with my 7months old Alza, I detected the smell while trying to overtake in Sport mode. Then later I try again to speed up on highway in Sport mode too. Same smell detected.
Is there a major problem with the car that causing smell issue like that?
*
Some say is gearbox overheating some say is aircond compressor overheat when using sport mode not sure is which one.Fot me if I want extra power I use power mode I don t use sport mode Sport mode fr me is going downhill fr engine braking like Cameron hill or getting highland

ahhh sorry I just realised I wrongly mentioned bangwall.gif oops.gif . What I used to overtake was Power button instead of gear's Sport mode.
Above you mentioned gearbox or aircon compressor overheating for Sport mode, what if for Power mode? Any idea to this?

Going for car service soon, hopefully SC can give answer also.
*
For power mode so far mine don t have the smell
