Having never read the original comic, I had no preconceptions about the characters. It was very entertaining IMHO. The acting was very good, and the stories a mixture of plot progression and anthology type. My favourite episode was about Dream's friendship with a human he made immortal, and their promise to meet up every 100 years at the same pub. Also subversively good was the episode at the diner.

I can feel the world's collective IQ and EQ dropping with each passing day. The internet and socmed have shortened people's attention span and made the masses stupid. Everything has to be black or white or good or bad. Literally 4 legs good 2 legs bad type of intellectual poverty. With that intellectual poverty comes intolerance and lack of empathy for diversity or context.

In another few decades or so these people will be looked st the same as those who were triggered over depiction of mixed couples in media.

I have conpleted watching the series last night, and I had read the whole sandman graphic novels years ago, and I can tell you that while the source materials is filled with woke elements, the netflix series intensified it to the point of ridiculousness.

There’s hardly a straight man in the series other than sandman himself. And he isnt human.

Netflix and disney are two woke super-peddlers of our times.

There's also the plot holes. If the Sandman is more than a god, and he is the lord of his realm, then why the fudge does he need his tools to rebuild the dream world? why are some people affected by the sleep sickness but not others?

I had to fast forward the woke shit because it contributed nothing to the storyline. Sandman falls into the 95% bin of "Netflix productions are crap".

The phase of the battle is way too slow and boring, director should have speed it up or keep it more interesting, too much slow motion where the camera slowly voom/pan to the characters

I read the Neil Gaiman Sandman many years ago in Comics Corner. Flip flip finish, found the comic very nice but I did not buy any Neil Gaiman comics myself.

But the fact is most couples depicted in the series is of woke element. Can you deny this?

Honestly if people are too focused on LGBT at the expense of simply enjoying a good story it means their head is full of gayness. Biologically speaking, if you react strongly to gay stuff, either you are gay or you are gay but in denial. Normal people don't have reaction to that.
