behold. the cheapest and guaranteed original fully synthetic oil for your bikes.

user posted image
guaranteed original since the shopee mall/laz seller is the only source for the oil.
fully ester base.

i've been using the mizu for a couple of changes now, really worth the cheap asking price.
can't guarantee it won't blow your engine if you do >300 on your panigale, but i frequently do >7k rpm and the oil seems to hold great.

i was targeting 3.5k OCI when i first tried the 15w50 but its still smooth to over 5k.
now on mizu 10w40

Nope.
The oil is still smooth to over 5k. I changed at 5k.

The bike have factory OCI set at 16000km/1 year. Takes 4l oil so OCI is quite long.

So you go by mileage and not time? I very rarely go out these days due to COVID, so my bike's just sitting at home and would only hit about 1k km per 6 months, was wondering myself when should I toss the Mizu oil out given that it's stated on the back of the container it should be changed every 3 months.

I'm using motul full synthetic. Not too expensive bought in bulk about 35/L

I do oil changes about once in 1-2 months. Mileage about 5K each time.

Nothing to complain about.

Bought at shopee . When have discounts. Bought 1 year's supply. My bike only uses 1.7L per oil change so this will last me some time.

i go by mileage since it goes up faster.
daily driven to work, bout ~100km everyday

my bike takes 4l oil and factory recommended OCI is at 16,000km or 1 year.
changing oil at 3.5k seems to be overdoing it to me (considering the factory recommendation).
but the mizu is cheap enough if you wanna be swapping them out every 3 month.

Got back from a 1236km solo trip to n9

The 10w40 mizu ester shows the same symptom as my previous 10w40 oil. The engine is a bit rough sounding after prolonged high speed highway run.

Took the bike for an hour (maybe more?) at 140-160km sustained speed and its a bit rough sounding. Maybe the oil had become too thin after all that heat.
Goes back to sounding fine once the engine had cooled down. Never had this issue with previous 15w50 mizu.

So i swapped the 10w40 out with 15w50 after I got back. The prev oil had 3300km on it, and is still quite clean.

what's the recommended oil for your Tiger? I think it's 10W-40 or 10W-50. Our climate to better take the 10W-50.

Service manual calls for 10w40 or 15w50

Yeah in our hot weather it's better to go with 15w50
Short distance high speed burst is ok with 10w40, makes the engine livelier even. but long distance touring with hours at high speed the thicker oil fares better.

Been using this brand for years in my TNT600 & D400. New formulation now got ester, using it in my current T850 (15w50) & 700 CL-X (10w40)

The old oil seemed to start burning off after 3500km in my TNT600, oil level would drop after that point. This new one seems to be holding up fine at 5000km.

It is quite simply the cheapest fully synthetic with ester in the market.

The low price also discourages counterfeiting coz at RM26/litre the margin wouldn't be as attractive as faking the premium brands.

Nope. Triumph didn't mind.

In the case of the 700 CL-X, I went back to GS Cycle where I bought the bike coz CFmoto's svc center only opens on weekdays. Bought enough bottles during the last sale to last 2 more oil changes.

Seems like every sale mizu will lower down their prices so doesn't make sense to buy at retail.

Yeah, will change to the mizu next oil chance due in 1500km. Doubt it will make much difference other than the heavier 50 weight oil Vs the 40 on the motul.

It's a single, low compression motor anyway, don't need really good oil...factory spec is 4500km OCI @ 20/50 mineral anyway.

It's cheap anyway. With 8 bottles (4 motul and 4 mizu), will last me for the next 4 oil changes.

Just changed out the motul 10-40 to the mizu 10-50.

Engine sounds marginally quieter. But everything else feels the same. Will go do a longer distance highway run next week and see how.

Haha, yes 15-50. Brain fart.

But I'm running to 4500 anyway which is the factory OCI on the bike.

The 3000km OCI maybe refers to kapchais with 1L of oil in the crankcase. And seeing how kapchai riders ride, 3000km sounds about right

Sorry to necro a thread. But just thought about an update.

My fourth order from Mizu. 15-50 fully syn. Been using this past 40k on my dominar. Last time open up the clutch cover and valve cover everything looks clean with no sludge buildup. Tolerences still tight on the stuff we can check..but no idea on the bearing health.

Factory OCI for the Dominar is between 4500 and 5000km. Takes about 1.7L.

Price is good though. Been able to get them from Thier official shopee shop at around 20ish a bottle when on sale or on various live events, gets shipped out in a day or 2.

My friends running tiger also repeat using mizu.
It's not the best, but cheap so can change a lot more frequently. I drain every 3000-3500km

You drain every 10k on mizu?

What is the recommended 4T oil change interval for mineral and fully synthetic? Is it 1k for mineral and 5k for fully?

Even when using mineral oil, changing every 1k is too much.

For low rpm bikes like a kapcai, using mineral oil is ok for 3k or 4k unless you feel it's getting rougher or noisier or clunky when changing gears then change the oil.

I sometimes use mineral oil for my kapcai and it can last for 5k. Fully synthetic for my big bike sometimes after 3k it's already rough when engine is hot. So I change it.

Most people don't really follow manufacturer guideline and change the oil more frequently than the rated 10,000km/16,000km interval

Mine is just a kapcai for normal daily ride. At the moment I using mineral and change every 2k. Thought of extending the interval by changing to fully syn. Any idea what is the recommended interval for fully syn, kapcai <130cc.

It also depends on how much crankcase capacity for oil.

Oil doesn't necessary degrade that much. It's the additives and contamination that usually the reason to change oil.

The more oil you have, the longer the OCI can be.

My 800NK has a factory OCI of a ridiculous 15k on fully synth. But I change by 8-10k.

My dominar's OCI is 4500 on mineral oil, I'm using fully synth but I change about the same time also, around 5k so there is a little more headroom if I can't make the service on time.

It also depends on how clean running your engine is. On a worn out engine, the oil gets contaminated by blowby and this may need more frequent oil changes.

On a daily driven kapchai unless you are full throttling it everyday, fully should be good for 3k, given you only have 1L of oil in your engine.

Oh ok, so just 3k ya. Based on my bike manual, it is recommended every 2k change using mineral. So just wondering how far can I push it to if I use fully instead of mineral. Thought can go 5k, lol.

3k is probably a good choice. It's not expensive anyways to change oil on a kapcai.

If you don't full throttle and santai ride it can last longer.

Are you still on the Mizu?

Just done 3k km on the fully synthetic 10W40 and did oil change, gear change now feels a lot smoother again. Past 2k km, quick, consecutive gear change kinda always result in the clutch/gear being stuck and needing a little throttle before I can change gear again, usually happens when I go from 6-1 when I stop at traffic light. Used to happen even during my kapchai day, not sure if it has anything to do with oil.
