 parcel lost, shopee give me my refund

Please ....Please dont send Parcel thru J&T, if your parcel do not want to be lost.
I send my parcel to Penang by J&T, after 1month plus ting-tong-ting-tong they said my parcel been lost.

I just heard from my friend that this been a while J&T always lost consumer parcel. I'm not aware of this, if i knew it, i will not send it in the first place.

So i would like to educate, dont get the same experience as me with J&T. I prefer they return my parcel than they compesate me with just 30% of the parcel value. Btw, i rejected their offer. i want them to compensate me the parcel value or return my parcel.
I have reported this to SKMM.

Thank god, u get refund quickly. im sure this must be from Shopee. Dont dream to get refund from J&T, furthermore u said the item is not cheap yo.

i beg to differ. most of my JnT parcels arrives safely and on time. so it is really depends on area. worse experience i have was with shopeexpress.

and i see many ppl talk about avoid this courier avoid that courier .... if you guys just use a little bit of common sense and think about it ... it has nothing to do with the company and it's always the rider or warehouse problem ... the company will never be able to monitor or control what the rider or people in the ware house do ... even got CCTV who so 7 free look at the video 24/7? Some area jnt good, some area ninja good... rider simply throw things, no call u when arrive, how are those issue a company problem? Maybe that day the rider sakit perut? maybe last night fight with wife/gf? They are humans and not robots. I'm no super big time seller but i've sold more than 500 parcels and I turn on all couriers ... I can say almost all couriers have lost at least 1 of my parcel and everytime shopee checks, both me and buyer gets the full refund... no problem

All I can say is buy tru shopee (no im not sponsored lmao) .. and check your items before clicking ORDER RECEIVED ... and you only have 3 days to do this ... i'm surprised how many ppl DON'T KNOW this ... any problem just click refund/reject ... u will get your money back ... ppl accept the defect then give 1 star to seller for what? u wont get your money back ... post on kopitiam for what? u think shopee CS is here waiting for your post? lol

So who actually bears the DOUBLE loss? Shopee or Courier?

If the item is sold at RM500, buyer get refunded RM500 and seller get compensated RM500 that would be total RM1000.
The parcel is auto-insured (between Shopee/Lazada with courier companies)? at double amount of the item price?

Anyone knows?

Obviously courier ... courier lost it then courier pay la ?? I mean of coz checks need to be done la not click refund then both parties will get refund straight away ... seller need send prove you already dropped of item and blablabla but usually LOST it's pretty easy and straight forward coz once seller drop off, shopee already got record, and buyer not received then nothing to prove la how to prove item not received ... things get complicated when item is DAMAGED or what then it's more complicated ... seller need send photo before packing everything is good etc .. buyer need provide unboxing video

Well as mentioned before i dun care what's the deal and insurance or whatever la i'm not lawyer or anything as long as i get my money then i'm happy la lol ... doesn't matter to me shopee pay or courier pay

edit: if you think DOUBLE IS ALOT of money to pay... think of what jnt is without shopee ... jnt was peanut before shopee ... can u imagine how many million parcels they get from shopee a day? im sure everyone heard of the viral sambal dude? 5 minute already sell how many bottle of sambal? biggrin.gif and how many parcel gets lost? 0.01%? 0.1%? or 50%? if 50% lost then better close business la lol

cuz my jnt parcel only said lost by shopee but in the jnt tracking its still active

once pick up, you win

my parcel stucked for almost a month and refunded, in the end i got the free item worth near rm1k

There is no double compensation paid in this case.

1. Buyer buys RM50 worth of goods. Platform holds the RM50
2. RM50 worth of goods moves from seller to courier
3. Courier loses goods in transit
4. Courier compensates seller RM50
5. Platform refunds the RM50 on hold back to buyer
