Just sharing from my personal exp -

For those who were born outside Malaysia, for first time passport application, will have to provide proof of entrance to Malaysia.
For example, in my case, my mom's old passport that contain my picture (toddler) & name in it, that has been verified by customs of the place you were born.

Learned this the hard way. Luckily my mom still keep her old passport.

Where did u make a report of the misplaced passport, at immigration dept or police?
My MIL could not find her misplaced passport at home, already expired few years, still got the passport number & expiry date, what is the process of getting a new passport?
