Hi I want to ask two questions about Wangsa Maju immigration office.

1) I applied online and got the email that says that my passport is available for collection, do I still need to queue up for number when I want to collect that day (because my email didn't specify when I can collect) or can I just straight walk in and collect my passport?

2) My family member got problem with fingerprint, does she need to like up for number when she wants to get her passport too?

Sharing my experience at Wangsa Maju immigration centre.

I applied online and lulus, so I just went to line up, get number and get my passport in less than 15 minutes.

But my family member say cop jari not sah, when we went there they tell us is because IC is not the one with two photos, so we had to go to UTC first to renew IC, also very quick, the process took like 1 hour so we can still go back to the immigration centre and renew passport, got the passport in 30 minutes.

Hi, for me I didn't make any online appointment, just straight walk in and take queue number, but the queue is separate from those that need to take thumbprint/ picture problem, just take the number, wait for them to call you to collect passport then can go.

I lined up before it open and the whole process only took 15 minutes.

Make sure you have all the required document.

Depends on what the exact issue is.

My family member is because the IC is old version even though the website says that it's fingerprint error, so we still need to go renew IC at UTC and then go back to renew passport.
