off course how you drive also is important, if red line the car always also will degrade the mountings fast

I rarely hear mountings can last 14 or even 10 years. many I hear is 5 -6 years for the original one, then depending on what you use for replacement.

I think start-stop traffic conditions are also bad for mountings because lots of torque is generated to move car from stationary, this stresses the mountings. So mileage and age aren't exactly accurate indicators of wear on mountings.
