Toyota owners sifus...
My wife vios start to vibrate when hitting the brake and hold at some point in reverse gear. Minor vibrate in traffic jam with feet on brake, Suspect need to change brake pad..

If goto toyota service center just to change brake pads ONLY, can?
Cause previously all service time, they will include those max check etc and labor costs, end up like 100+
Wanna skip those unnecessary check

Car 6 yrs, no more under warranty

Sounds like engine mounting wear off early symptom. How old is this car?

6 yrs, but mileage less than 50k😂

Get brakes pads from outside and service outside.

Toyota charge damm a for brake pads.

Contact this. Original parts. Dont worry.

Can, its your car, you decide what they can do on your car, they can only recommend, you can also ask them to check specific things only and advise without changing anything, but labor charge apply to the checking.

why not bring her along to toyota sc, let her talk to the sc what to do and decide on the charges, let her feel good as she is driving the car, it is cheap for only cost a few hundreds to keep wife happy and car happy at the same time.

Just goto Toyota SC and let them diagnose what's the problem. Happy wife happy you.

Sounds like a bad mounting. When change mounting, it is best practise to change all 3 (Left & Right Engine Mounting + Gearbox Mounting)
When switch to reverse gear, Engine will Rev a bit higher than Idling, and when driving forward will be a bit hard to notice mounting faulty.
If there is something wrong with your brakes, it doesnt matter whether it is forward or backward, your steering wheel will vibrate like crazy. Do note brake vibration doesnt limit to brake pads, it may also cause by warp brake disc, calipers, ABS.
