sounds like it but how can a 6 years old car's engine mounting be wearing off...it's a toyota vios
not a perodua viva rclxub.gif

why not? rubber degrades in heat. and you know every company also trying to cut cost, right?
btw, engine mounting is not covered in warranty, considered wear and tear item.

unless that car is parked under scorching sun 24/7/365 for the past 6 years
and the original mounting is way way more durable than those aftermarket ones

aftermarkets one thn yes, i would agree
none of my proton saga and myvi's original mounting has started to degrade yet
despite 1 is 14 years old and another is 10 years old
my friend's alza is 9 years old....220k KM ODO...also not yet need to change mounting

that's why i think it's impossible for a vios's mounting to degrade that fast
if it is thn i'm very disappointed toward toyota's quality

wrong. start and cold down many times also generate heat cycles that will degrade your mounting. engine compartment very hot

off course how you drive also is important, if red line the car always also will degrade the mountings fast

I rarely hear mountings can last 14 or even 10 years. many I hear is 5 -6 years for the original one, then depending on what you use for replacement.
