That said, if you're worried that raising a kid is expensive (which it is). Its not going to get any cheaper, the cost is also likely to outpace your earnings, so better to start earlier and just plan your finances accordingly. Sometimes the pressure of having a kid will push you (hubby mostly) to earn more.

If you have your own place to stay without parents, then better to get a confinement lady to stay.
Why u ask? Because no parents/in laws will disturb the lady doing her work, and its more comfortable to be at your own place.

Since your already at home, you already know how to manage the babies things and where to put them accordingly and where to get them, when u come back from confinement home it will not so easy to get adjust back to your home as u will need to organize from the start.

To those saying staying in confinement the wife can rest more, I see no difference cause your wife need to get up every 2 hours to feed and she will be sleep deprive either way.
