I think I still have the activation key for my school's windows xp bulk license written somewhere, my teacher literally wrote it down on a tape and slapped it on top of the computer

I still have Me running on my GX260 and Windows Fundamentals for Legacy PCs (super lightweight XP) on the GX270. No biggie, not connected to the network anyway.

Usually not supported by microsoft LTS updates already, there are companies out there that specialize in providing security patches for older software and OS'ses

Anyway. The long term support - is it from Microsoft? They still release security patches for these not normal version of old OS ?
