The passings are much better, especially the last 20 minutes. Can see the daily hustle from ETH and coaches becoming fruitful.
More of this hard work, plus new good additions to the squad, I'm hopeful.

Good also. ETH will give his version of hairdryer treatment.
Still a good match. If it's a real match, then different story already. At least ETH have a taste of losing before season starts. This post has been edited by EightPhantomz: Jul 30 2022, 09:39 PM |

So, it's apparent that we need a good striker. Martial is good, but we don't have anyone else other than him and Ronaldo (if he stays).
Also, Sancho's absence. Elanga just cannot lah, good as backup only. Before the red card, McFred was surprisingly ok. The defence also not too bad, except for Dalot. McTom bailed him out a lot of times. Hope to see Martinez in tomorrow's game. |

Until now, I still don't know what is good about Van De Beek.
QUOTE The withdrawal of Scott McTominay saw Fred drop into the lone holding role, with Eriksen and Van de Beek playing as twin No. 8s. That's when our midfield became weak. As much as we dislike McFred partnership, last night they were solid. If it was only Eriksen coming in... maybe we won't concede that goal. Also, McTom bailed out Dalot so many times. RB is quite weak at the moment. This post has been edited by EightPhantomz: Jul 31 2022, 03:12 PM |

QUOTE(Daimoku @ Aug 1 2022, 10:02 AM) Too little game time to give full review.Zidane played ok but mostly as sub. Garner didn't play much in Bangkok/Aussie tour due to injuries. Last night was his first start, and he looks promising. I didn't see Garnacho play during the tour except for last night, not sure why. He's probably the top youth player at the moment. Ethan Laird was ok, not too bad. Maybe a loan is good for him. I think he defended and attacked better than AWB. Tahith Chong, very inexperienced whenever he gets the ball. I think Elanga is way ahead of him. At 23, we should offload him elsewhere. For the seniors overall, I'm quite disappointed with Varane. Not sure whether he's not match fit or still with injuries. He seemed sluggish and indecisive in distributing the ball forward. Hate it when he opted for backpass. Maguire seems to be better than him now. For Telles, I don't think he can challenge the LB position, now that we have Malacia. VDB? Just like Telles, squad player. Sorry to say, McFred is one-two step ahead of him, only by small margin. QUOTE(aaron1717 @ Aug 1 2022, 10:58 AM) zidane anti-press while savage like his father, an avid tackler but with better passing range... garnacho was ban from the tour because of discipline issue, the guy who late for meeting twice.. garner should be have a spot as squad player this season... Yeah, VDB, I think ETH put him at no10, 8, 6 already. Maybe slightly better at 10. But overall, below par. I don't understand the rave before. Or just to piss Ole off, I don't know lol.the rest non performers all can sell... CB wise i think jones tuanzebe and bailley can sell dy... maguire i doubt ETH will touch him at all... brandon william, awb, chong, telles and the 3 CB i mentioned just sell and get some cash back... varane has been quite bad during pre-season dunno why... last season before he injured, he is playing quite well under ole... and vdb so far i reli cant see how to put him in first team... bruno and eriksen sure ahead of him if wanna play two 8 or one 10... cdm he is not even at mctom fred level... no.6 he is not as energetic as fred... reli dunno where to put him.. Even Eriksen did better at no6 last night. So it has decided for Laird to go on loan. This post has been edited by EightPhantomz: Aug 1 2022, 11:16 AM |

QUOTE(simmarjit @ Aug 1 2022, 11:39 AM) We still need to clear loads of players from our squad man. Since our squad's depth very thin. I think only few can be offloaded.Bailly Jones Telles/Shaw Williams AWB Chong Amad/Pellestri Bailly, he probably ask for an out. Not sure if loan will satisfy him. Still a good squad player, keep if he willing to stay. Jones, jual for free pun ok. Telles/Shaw need to keep as backup Williams, sell. AWB, sell. But since Laird will be on loan, who's the backup for Dalot? Chong, sell. Amad, keep as squad player. He's good as supersub. Pellestri, loan out. |

QUOTE(john_white @ Aug 1 2022, 04:49 PM) DRAW Haha if don't want heart attack, set all to LOSE.DRAW DRAW DRAW i put low expectations so I can live happily. Lesson learned from last season, high expectations make my heart rosak. Realistically we can beat all except for Pool, maybe a draw or 0-1 lose. Provided we don't pancit after playing against Brighton, and Brentford la. Mana tau suddenly semua injured. |

QUOTE(aaron1717 @ Aug 2 2022, 09:57 AM) he has bro... MU DNA and counter attacking philosophy... lol... although he should stand strong on his stance if he wanna succeed.. not kasi trial and error this n that towards the end of his tenure... like A.Madrid their way is play to win by hook or by crook... doesnt matter if they just play counter attacking with dirty jobs... at least that a clear philosophy... they never wanna play good football like baka or RM... What we need is a winner manager.Moyes never won anything. Still stuck at mid level mindset. Van Gaal won a lot but he has become a boomer. Jose has all the ingredients, but issues with Pogba and the MU DNA fans killed his chances to stay. Ole never won anything worthy as a manager. Rangnick almost like Van Gaal, but he never won anything. Talk talk only. So, ETH, he won the Dutch league with Ajax, and has the taste of good competition in CL. He's also still young, so not grumpy like grandpa VG. In terms of CV, lose to Jose... But since MU management have turned to a new leaf, he will be given better chances than Jose but with lower budget and no CL. The MU DNA fans need some changes in their head as well. Or go support Pool and worship Klopp. So, let's see. This post has been edited by EightPhantomz: Aug 2 2022, 10:13 AM |

Putting aside the players, how long will the MU DNA fans support ETH?
Will it be 5 years like Klopp? None of the managers after Fergie stayed longer than 2 seasons. What will consider as a good season for him to stick to his filosofi? |

QUOTE(aaron1717 @ Aug 2 2022, 03:58 PM) wish chelsea just buy FDJ and give our board and ETH a wake up slap je.. lol... ETH keep on wan FDJ but our side cant convince him to join us, waste of time lol... better just get someone else, i dont believe FDJ is the only one can do what ETH wants when his ajax still can continue on without FDJ for 2 seasons... I think that is one thing about ETH, he is so used to having limited funds. So he only buys what he deems as a very good player that suits his needs. So when FDJ deals at a stalemate, he needs a lot of convincing when scouts present him the alternatives. He might feel agak-agak. Might as well train McFred or the kids as he has a good reputation with youth players. |

QUOTE(orga_laut @ Aug 2 2022, 06:22 PM) yup, i think of that too .. and then messi still in CL and winning trophies Well, everyone's favourite manager, Klopp's team was 8th in his first season. Some more he brought in 11 players in his first two seasons. Astonishing.the club have no problem teminate his contract. but guys, come on .. this is on my man .. my man Erik ten Hag yo .. this stubborn awesome manager is the one who want him to stay and help him rebuild at least for 1 season .. Frenkie de Jong saga, again this is on my man too .. he is so stubborn that if he have a power to flying-kick the glazers head, he will do it lets hope that cristiano stays, and frenkie coming in , ..and followed by antony in january transfer ..then we are good .. or else, expect another shity season 6th place spot confirm QUOTE Where did Klopp finish in his first season at Liverpool? In his first year, Klopp opted for a 4-2-3-1 formation, but he was unable to turn around the side's erratic form in the Premier League, and they finished eighth. However, he managed to get the team into two finals. Both, however, he lost. A season-by-season look at Klopp's rebuild of Liverpool - Marca Klopp's TOTO number 8-4-4-2-1-3 (EPL finishing). QUOTE “Boo hoo, woe is me,” Mills told talkSPORT. “Welcome to the real world of football Dean. This is what happens in football. “David de Gea, didn’t he get Player of the Season? Therefore you were rightly number two behind him. No one ever gets promised ‘You are going to be No 1 all season long’, it’s impossible, doesn’t happen. You may start that way, but he got Covid. He was out of the team, David de Gea came in, played well, he stays in. That’s what happens in football, players get injured, they get ill, someone else gets an opportunity and you can’t get back in. Tough. You have to deal with it, that’s football. Source Enough said. This post has been edited by EightPhantomz: Aug 3 2022, 09:12 AM |
