if FdJ is not coming .. Fred will play this role ... get the ball from deep/cb and progress forward

for VdB, if cant fit in our team after given chance can sell if not in ETH plan

there are players who did well in other teams after leaving man utd too .. they were just not suitable to the team / game plan at that point of time, e.g. Forlan

There were also instances where ppl only comes to appreciate certain players few years later after "slow start", e.g. Carrick (not flashy), Fletcher (late bloomer), Berbatov (body language)
