Well not the worst, my rich friend wedding on male side 100 tables because of business associates and the female side requested for 50 table because the male side pay for all.

The wife side dun have enough relative, they even invited those association with the same surname. Most of them only RM30 angpao and came to fill up the tables

Some couple would ask first, as a courtesy. They also don’t want to send invitation if the guest cant make it.

Some just send, and ask people to RSVP. If confirmed going but cant make it, the seat is already reserved so must pay too
