QUOTE(Gravity @ Feb 3 2008, 12:51 PM) actually it's not 95kmh, u can hear wind noise near 85kmh at driver seat. the noise generated from driver side window. i went to Team city forum, found out most of the CT owner there have similiar problems also... a proper solution is yet to be discover.. so hopefully LYN forumer CT owner can give some help here... the noise is very distrubing. it make me sounds like driving a proton iswara...... QUOTE(PureGeek @ Feb 3 2008, 01:14 PM) i dont think the wind sound disturbing very much, as u open the windows at 180km/h.. i think the most economy and practical way to eliminate that sound is turn on the music player at higher sound.. so simple.. or else, u can just put the earplug.. settle!! |

QUOTE(Fasap @ Feb 4 2008, 02:37 PM) Lol.. so busy no time to post la mine is around 80k, and services before this not more than RM200. RM800++ is a lot. What they do? Polish port? Supercharge? What you guys think, my 40K major service is coming up, and im not that keen to fork up RM800++ for the service. Do we have an option to choose what to change and what not to change during service? or its a predetermined package? summore, is it true that honda genuine service parts are at 25% discount now? normally was 15%, any feedback on this? thanks in adv! i think its all depend on service center loh, but wait, all the detail services done and to be done is stated on booklet rite? if i'm not mistaken la.. |

QUOTE(apisgogo @ Mar 17 2008, 12:22 PM) long time didn't post here. a lot of new owners! i changed mine to eibach pro kit. this spring is softer than stock vtec , but do offer comfortable rides.. just dont put 40 series tires, as i think 40 series kill comfort a lot.. just wanna ask something, have you guys change the suspension or absorber? im thinking to make my city smoother when going on rough surface and more comfortable ride. Stock absorber not really that smooth for me. any thoughts? mine is 205/40/17, that why.. |

QUOTE(fooken @ May 18 2008, 02:28 AM) hey mike yea i rmember you. just revently theres one of the member with eibach spring changed his stock absorber to GAB sport absorber. result? much more comfortable now. Reason being is that the whole suspension now is working in unison. stock absorber has long stroke meant for longer stock springs. once u've changed to sport springs, the spring rate n length doesn't compliment well with stock abs. I have 1 set of GAB sport absorber brand new if you want. can get cheaper than normal market price. let me know if you're interested. bro, which series GAB absorber ur frens used? Maybe i gonna give it a try if the pricing is okay.. so far the eibach spring + stock absorber working fine on my CT, |

QUOTE(fooken @ May 27 2008, 05:37 PM) theres quite a number who change to this size n brand. very good investment i must say. Taiko, rite now im using 205/40/17 tires, so i'm gonna downgrade in 2 months because cannot tahan enter lobang.. on trade in value depends on wear n tear of your own tyres. They will see all four tyres then only give u a quote. Thanks!! |

QUOTE(fooken @ May 29 2008, 04:18 AM) just change your tyre to 45 series. more comfortable n chances of rim bengkok pon kurang. im using 205/45/17 currently. Even when I was using 16" previously I also used one series thicker, 50series on 16". when trade in the rims, no dent or whatsoever. aik, i think 45 series will hit the fender? or need to mod something to make it fit? really noob in this thing.. And about fc between idsi n vtec is very minimal i think. Mine is vtec n my auntie is idsi, drove her car more than 3 months as she got transfered last year. Both with RM80 of petrol will go around 550-650km, depend on the driving. Harsh driving n sudden stop consume more petrol, me old already, drive slow n steady, rm80 can get me more than 650km. Thats on 17" tires, if using 15" i get more. My record with 15" is 715km for RM82 of petrol. From Sabak Bernam to Kuala Terengganu. |

QUOTE(raymond5105 @ Jun 1 2008, 08:25 PM) Your City is doing preety good job for travelling so faraverage is RM0.114/km. What was the speed you were driving? Everage usage for daily driving is around 80km/h-90km/h.. Highway driving is around 120-140km/h.. No sudden brake, not rushing n not bringing another passenger with me.. |

For normal daily driving, including hilly area, both iDSi n VTEC is sufficient, no need to worry ..
