Wish I could downvote this, this is terrible advice considering the current economic climate. It’s not all fine and dandy compared to 10 heck 5 years ago. People need to look at what is happening now and not years ago. Fundamentals have changed profoundly.

Buy something that is affordable and acceptable to you because you will not be able to cash out of it in a hurry. My main advice is to make sure it’s somewhat investment grade ie. ppl will rent it or buy of you when there’s a change of plan.

People who make sweeping statements without backing it up should just keep numb.
