Is guard allowed to capture photo of your IC?

Got real bodo one the other day.
Had to drive into one of those informal secure tamans in PJ and the guard says I want to take picture of driving license. Proceeds to show the card to a cheap CCTV camera. Like can read ke the card info from CCTV footage? |
