On 12th Of September, this guy by the name Lim Shien Tat request me to buy his game stuff thru a website, grandomart.com. Each transaction is around $19 and I did twice for him, in which he promise to bank-in in RM the next day. The next day, he told me he banked in cheque and ask me to buy once more for him.

It sounds so fishy that I refuse to do. While waiting for the cheque to clear, he banked in RM50 and asked so that I could buy another $19. It was short of RM10, and he say he would top it up tomorrow. So I thought it was alright and bought another $19, which is around RM65.

A few days later, he is like missing in action, blocked me on msn and not replying my sms-es and calls. He owe me RM140 in total now. Below are some of his details:

RM140 is not a big amount, but I just feel like giving people like him a lesson. He know I'm just 16 and he's 18, and yet he don't feel ashame to cheat someone who is younger than him. Looks like a kiddo to me for cheating just for game.

I just call his house phone. His auntie picked it up, and I told her.
The she call him to answer, and he ask me who I am and say he didn't buy.
I'm really speechless and I tell him I would check the h/p number registration if it's him.

What should I do? He's a real pure idiot, damn it.

Another MSN address of his lead to his sister's Friendster. I obtain the name from the other victim of this scammer. The house phone is definitely correct. And it's obviously he's pretending if you listen to his voice while on the phone. Not panic nor confuse, but just simply a pretending voice. Screw him.

dude , your just 16 . 140 is a big lump for a 16 year old kid. Even it's 1 ringgit also you gotto fight for it because it's your money. You sound like your from a rich family and don't give a shyt bout the 140.Get ur parents to help you out or your relatives. If i'm free i might help you out. Where's the kid from?

140 is not a small amount, but since I'll definitely need someone's else help, I would rather not hassling them. Just take it as a lesson, rm140 to prevent a further scam that might worth more, maybe. I'm 18 already by the way

U can try to withdraw/report to paypal u might probably get back ur paypal money from the game website..
And the game admin will ban his account.

For me..the amount is not important. But trust is more important. Because of that lesson he know become more tough & brave guy.
Think of the consequences.
More important if the news look suspicious. don believed it.

Paypal can refund you for this case because you're the sender of the money file a dispute

The problem is, the PayPal account and credit card is not under my name. I might have problem if PayPal is asking for documents.

It's already 2 years, so I guess I'd forget about it. I just want people to remember his name

Who is the owner of the account? ask them to file the dispute.
I never tried, but i dont think paypal will ask for documents coz whoever login to the account is considered authenticated
