obviously someone have not been to london. Hahaha the way u compare after conversion is just mind blowing. Yr talking as if all T20 in London could easily afford a porsche.

Those making GBP 50k and above per annum will only worry about tax + housing. LOL only those who are bringing home > GBP 100k would even dare consider there.

i don't mean macan, i mean the face of porsche: 911. let me show u the calculation:

median t20 earn 6k a month (t20 household median income is 12k)

brand new porsche 911 is 1.1 million ringgit => car price is 15 years of annual income for a t20!

now compare to uk, new porsche 911 is 93k pound => only 2 years of annual income for a t20. (t20 in uk starts from 3.7k gbp)

in one country you work 15 years, the other you work 2 years only. no wonder i don't see any new 911 on the road these days. and people who drive taycan already flaunting their car on tiktok ig non stop..

T20 only means one thing, which is less subsidy by gomen. It's not about you being rich or not. Most T20 cannot afford the car because they can't pay it with 6 months salary.

This cannot be true by just looking at the cars on the road and how malls and restaurants are packed.

Except gomen servants and hawker, few people could avoid paying EPF.

Many malehsian lifestyle is sustained by debts. For reasons, why household debts is among the highest in Asia.

I only know:

1. Construction business family with approx. net worth of RM100mil+ who drives a Porsche.
2. Plantation business with approx. RM200mil+, drive BMW and Merc only.
3. Director of a Tech company with RM100mil+ net assets and RM1mil p.a. salary but drive old BMW.
4. B40 colleague who drives his dad's RM150k car to show off.
5. People renting cars to balik kampung.

Tldr; the car you drive does not really have to do with your income. Most wealthy people prefer to be lowkey.

I have a story about being rich only makes life harder.
His father's business around 500mil ish.
So in his house the spare cars are an BMW X6, c200 and lambo gallaro** or something, this was way back in 2011 ish.

So the mom uses the c200 cause X6 too big and lambo for obvious reason.
So this fresh grad didn't want started work at a company(not his father company) and had to drive an x6 to work.
In the end to cover his status, he had to park almost 700metres away everyday for 1.5 years so that his car won't be more expensive than the manager + senior manager
