Food in general is slightly above average.

Price/taste ratio is high but that's a given. A place to bring mistress and sugar babe to.

I tried once and hari hari mau. But not rich so once a while only.
The service is so good.
They hire Chinese staffs and not foreigners.
The soup base is the best soup among all steamboat I tried.
They can even adjust the strength to your likenesses.
The ingredients so fresh and not kiamsiap.
The sauces are breathtaking. There is even beef minced as the sauce base, can you imagine that?

try lifting your hand and you'll find a waiter attending to you in 5 secs or less. and those kids that serve you? if they're performance is up to a certain standard, they'll be able to bagged up to RM 8k max a month, now dont quote me la, this is what i was told from my friend's younger brother who is working there.

food is totally subjective but to me, its above average, but man the service, the cleanliness, the attention to detail, is top level shit.

Yeah that's the thing.

HDL staff are all local non Muslims with advanced level of Mandarin. Not cheap.

Basic pay for waiter at HDL is 4.3k (10 hour shift 6 days a week)

Kitchen staff 3.9k

Agree to this.. service memang best.. food wise ok la.. will still go for celebrating something. Not every weekend food
