Yes, you don’t need to renew insurance at post office. Normally I renew direct with the insurance company to get 10% discount. But you can pay insurance with credit card at post office.

For road tax, you cannot pay with credit card and post office got charge service fee. Can renew direct at Jpj if you don’t want to pay the fee.

Yes, can. Additional service charge of RM2 if not mistaken. They will need your IC too (to prove you're the card owner). If not card owner, just say your relationship with care owner (eg husband/wife)

The car I'm using is not under my name also, no issue.

I think is because you need to put the name as a named driver in the insurance so that you are covered as the named driver.

this round i used TouchNGo to renew insurance & roadtax. cheaper than MyEG. renewed using e-wallet app.

Fun fact: My car road tax expired on 28th Feb 2020, renewed on 03 March 2022 and paid only one year to get next renewal on 02 March 2023. Saved 2 years of road tax.

mine expired 2/1/2020. and i just renewed today 30/12/22 very last minute. cukurr still can renew road tax. i did mine at post office. that lady said, some cars need to renew within 1 year, some cars allowed up to 3 years. and if the cars need puspakom inspection, the system will autolock roadtax renew. so she said rugi if still buy insurance

in my case, website said cannot. ayam almost sad. so need to walk in to post office. i renew insurance + road tax + driving license just now

mine wrote 29/12. well if renew every year, must use that date la. but if renew once every 3 years, can choose the date whenever u renew next😁
