This is what u call oil cooling... It's something like liquid cooling but it uses oil to transfer the heat from the electronics parts. But u can't simply use any type of cooking oil though.. The composition of it must be correct.

tomshardware got video on oil computer..they put 2 bottle of oil and its still working..

it works... haha...

got 1 webby actualling testing overclocking in oil... it use corn cooking oil if not mistaken., superb cooling...

oil should be ok, but u need to buy those transformer cooling oil, a bit expensive........

haih..quite empty inside..the should put some fish or turtles to make it more cool..oso some tree thats normally used to decorate aquarium..ONLY if they can live in oil.. hmm.gif

after 1 hour or more running inside the oil... try to put an egg in it... mayb it's good in energy preservation... using the heat to fry eggs

come on .. if the oils preserve the heat so well ... it wouldn't being used to cool off a system ...

the idea is to make sure the things are cool and silent ....

this isn't the first one that done .... there were few started last year ...

Try imaging what will happen if the pc got hit by a lightning laugh.gif bet the whole pc or even his house will burn out really fast blink.gif

1. cooking oil won't burn.
2. cooking oil won't conduct electricity.
3. cooking oil can prevent your rig from being corrode.

so no worries.. just worry about how you're going to clean them..

erm.. do u think it can be clean? LOL
how u clean? using wat to clean?

2 bottle of oil, imagine need how many day only can fried up the egg. LOL
wait until the egg ok, i think u die due to hungry. LOL biggrin.gif

erm... you can't use soap and water. so the only way is to use tissue paper. good luck on trying... perhaps when i have time i would try it using my AMD K6.. lol
