Hi guys,

Does iPhone not allow users to share photos directly from chat to whatsapp status?

Before this, i downloaded the photos from chat but not save in phone gallery then i directly share to whatsapp status.
But starting Thursday i cannot do that anymore. It shows 'Sending 0 of 0'. I have to save to gallery only then i can share to whatsapp status.

Anyone has the same problem with me? Please help....

I've already updated to ios 15.5 but before update also cannot.
Currently am using iPhone 12.

Or forward? I don’t use WhatsApp status but forwarding media will show My Status on top.

Open photo in chat > export button > share > select whatsapp icon > my status
