Read that there were some rogue apps that certain Android users installed that managed to read their banking SMS TAC and that’s how they lose money in their accounts instantly.

But haven’t heard of such cases for iOS yet.

This. Especially for those not tech savvy like the elderly. I would only recommend iPhones for them.
